Welcome to Constitutional Clarity. By using this site you agree to these basic terms.
1. Educational purpose
Constitutional Clarity is provided for educational and civic study purposes only. The explanations, summaries, glossary entries, and quiz questions are intended to help everyday citizens understand the U.S. Constitution. Nothing on this site is legal advice, and the content is not a substitute for consulting a qualified attorney about a specific legal question.
2. Acceptable use
You agree to use the site in good faith. You will not:
- attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the site;
- attempt to bypass the quiz attempt limits, timers, or admin controls;
- scrape or republish substantial portions of the content in a way that misrepresents its source; or
- use the site to harass others or violate any applicable law.
3. Quiz attempts and question pool
The quiz draws randomized questions per category and enforces a limited number of attempts per device (IP address) so that repeat attempts see fresh questions. Once you have exhausted the available question pool, further attempts may be disallowed. Question pools, timers, passing thresholds, and messages are configured by the site administrator and may change over time.
4. Invitation to the companion project
If you pass the quiz you may be invited to provide your name and email address to participate in a separate civics/wiki project. Participation is entirely optional and governed by the Privacy Policy. Submitting your email is not required to use Constitutional Clarity.
5. Content and intellectual property
The original text of the United States Constitution and its Amendments is in the public domain. Explanations, summaries, quiz questions, glossary entries, and the visual design of this site are provided for personal study. You may quote short excerpts with attribution; please do not republish the site's original explanatory content as your own.
6. No warranty
The site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do our best to keep explanations accurate but do not guarantee that every entry is free from error. Use of the site is at your own risk.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operators of Constitutional Clarity are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site.
8. Changes to these terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
